Personaraeth
(ongoing, experimental state)
In the same way that “Hiraeth” conveys a homesickness for a place you can’t return to, “Personaraeth” suggests a homesickness for people – an emotional landscape filled with those who have marked us deeply and where connections, although disrupted, continue to influence and shape the present self.
A lost sibling/ a friend you can no longer or hardly reach/ a lost love/ memories with dear ones that fade away/ moments or persons that shaped you in time, from birth to the present day.
